Log Camp Kitchen

The Camp Kitchen is a large log building with 6 picnic tables inside. It contains a couple of wood stoves for warming up the building on chilly or rainy days. We like to cook our meals on top of the stove or cook hotdogs and marshmellows inside the stove. The camp kitchen offers a refrigerator for family & friends gatherings. There is a double sink for washing your dishes. It contains a pingpong table for entertaining young and old alike. The camp kitchen is wheel chair accessible. Outside the camp kitchen is a firepit for evening gatherings for your group.

The Camp Kitchen is often reserved for celebrations such as family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, small weddings and workshops. Please reserve in advance for your special occasion as it is a popular place!

Log Gazebo Looks over Lesser Slave Lake

This unique hand-hewn log gazebo overlooks Lesser Slave Lake. Behind it is the entrance to the walking trail along the shore line. In front of it is the large sandy playground. It is the perfect place for private conversations, day dreaming, or watching cloud formations along the lake. In the spring and fall, it is the place to be to watch the northern lights and the star formations. The gazebo is romantic for renewing wedding vows, proposing to the love of your life or for holding weddings. Children love it as a place to play on a rainy day.

Washrooms, Shower & Change Rooms

Women and Men's shower rooms, change rooms & washrooms are found in the log washcar. Our staff try to keep these clean and pleasantly homey for you. The showers are coin operated. Our staff appreciate knowing if there is anything you need to ensure hygenic conditions.

Showers & Laundromat

Coin Operated Laundromat

We opened our laundromat in 2005 much to the delight of the women! On sunny days we ask you to be environmentally friendly and hang your clothes on a line at your campsite. Each cabin has a small clothesline on its deck along with clothespins for drying wet bathing suits, towels, etc.

Outhouses

The outhouses have been placed through the campsite for your convenience. We keep them as clean as possible and encourage people to be environmentally friendly. Conserve on water by using these facilities where possible. See the map at the office or on the back of the brochure for the closest outhouse to you.
